Severance Hall Concert & Ticket Order Form

Severance Hall, Cleveland Ohio The Independence High School Wind Ensemble will, for the first time, be performing at Severance Hall featuring the premiere of David Shaffer’s composition honoring the distinguished career of our own Ken Gunlicks. Last year the Independence Music Boosters commissioned Mr. Shaffer to write a piece of music in Ken’s honor. It is a good bet that this song will be played by bands across the country! The Independence High School Wind Ensemble will be performing a 45-minute concert January 24, 2010, as part of the Northeast Ohio Wind Band Invitational.

Tickets are $10 each and must be purchased in advance through the High School Music Department, (216) 642-5860. Make checks payable to IHS Music Boosters.

Boosters Wing Night for Uniforms

Wings The Boosters are sponsoring a "Wing Night" at Bleachers Sports Grill, 6855 Ridge Road, 440-888-8900, on Saturday, March 20th, from 6pm to 9pm. Food and drinks will be provided including beer, wine, and well drinks. There will be side boards, a 50/50 raffle, and basket auction. Tickets are $20 each, with proceeds going towards the purchase of new uniforms.

Please consider a donating a basket for the auction. Be creative! Ask your employer to contribute, purchase lottery tickets, a bottle of wine, a six pack of special beer, or other delightful consumable. Contact Julie Scotton at 216-642-8721 or email.

Save Your ACME Receipts

Save your ACME receipts and submit to collection box This is easy -- Just save your receipts and deposit in the collection box!

Save your ACME receipts and deposit in boxes located in the IHS office, IMS Office and Civic Center. Any "Food club" brand purchased at ACME returns 5% to the Music Boosters. Last year the boosters made $80 -- It's that simple.
